摘要： The process control industries have seen a great explosion in different function block programming languages over the last five years. Each of these languages is proprietary meaning that there is no ability to port one function block program to another platform. Some standards for process control symbology have been developed, but they lack the richness of graphic expression often contained in the commercial products. There are also problems with integrating the continuous-time function block languages with discrete-event languages used on programmable logic controllers (PLCs), though the integration of these two types of control are often needed in practice. I-I-Con is being designed to provide an open-systems platform for both continuous-time PID control and discrete-event PLC control using a single integrated paradigm. The I-I-Con programming language is also intended to integrate industrial control software design with coding by capitalizing on the similarity of Petri-net like diagrams which have been used both to program PLCs and to perform general systems design and engineering. Thus, the same pictures which are used to perform systems design can then be used to code the control application. Here we describe the I-I-Con project at the University of Cincinnati. We intend for the I-I-Con project to have a major impact on how industrial control systems are developed in the future. We are currently soliciting suggestions and criticisms from the industrial controls community while the project is in its formative stages.

摘要： 提出饮片的质量控制应采用系统工程的研究方法，把生药的基原、品种、栽培工艺、采收加工及质量检测等和中药饮片质量有关的因素作为一个有机体系，进行整体研究。并提出相应的观点：明确生药的植物基原；生药品种的单一化、优化和纯化；栽培工艺的标准化；采收加工的科学化和质量检测的多面化，从而达到中药饮片生产的一体化企业化。

摘要： 论述了计算机仿真技术在航空航天人－机－环境系统中的发展方向和应用，包括人体生理系统的建模与仿真、座舱环境参数的数学模拟以及驾驶员工作域的计算机图形显示。

摘要： This paper deals with the challenges that relate to management of a large, diverse group of control systems engineers in a multinational engineering contractor environment. The challenges include maintaining a high skill level across the wide range of expertise areas required in this discipline, providing technical challenges and opportunities, and at the same time providing the proper mix of skills for the execution of projects in a task force environment. Adding to the problems are the need to execute projects in a wide variety of unrelated industries, the ever-present need in our discipline to keep up with rapidly changing technology, and the cyclic nature of the economic environment. This paper describes approaches to these problems within a major engineering contractor firm.
