Knowledge construction is to better understand new information or existing knowledge by making inferences about new information, taking new perspectives on existing knowledge, adding details to refine new information, and forming a relationship between new and existing knowledge. It can be seen as an activity in which students in an online environment express their knowledge, share their knowledge expressed, and connect shared knowledge with each other in finding answers to each other's questions.
