摘要： This thesis studies and analyzes the current Peruvian Air Force information systems with the view to implement an integrated network design for the existing computer based systems. The focus of this thesis is on examining the issues and factors that need to be taken into consideration for the integration design. The objective is to provide a feasible alternative for integration under to constraints of available resources and the limitations inherent to its environment. We believe that the implementation of the recommendations of this thesis will have a substantial impact on the information systems of the Peruvian Air Force, allowing new applications to be developed including a Decision Support System on the up-to-date data. It will also permit the resolution of many current problems related to data redundancy, inconsistency, and non-current data.

摘要： 提出了采用报文存贮转发方式实现ASTPC—NET通过JUMP广域网互连的方案,并对解决网际寻址、速率匹配、差错控制和网际监控等问题的方法作了详细的描述。该方法对异种网络互连具有一定的参考价值。

摘要： Six supercomputer centers, seven regional academic computer networks, and a number of other research networks across the country can now talk to each other faster than ever. An updated National Science Foundation Network, known as NSFNET, went on-line July 27 with the fastest data transmission capability of any nonprivate network in the country. The network can now transmit at a rate of 1.5 million bits per second. That's the equivalent of ∼50 pages of single-spaced, typewritten text every second and is nearly 30 times faster than the old network.
