The background of this era has put forward unprecedentedly high requirements for the training standards of science and engineering students, especially emphasizing the cultivation of interdisciplinary integration, innovation ability, and practical skills. This article focuses on the course “Introduction to Applied Physics” and deeply analyzes the innovative practice of course content design, teaching methods, and assessment systems under the new engineering framework. By carefully constructing course objectives, optimizing content structure, innovating teaching models, and diversifying assessment methods, this course is committed to guiding students to deeply understand the essence, development trajectory, and efficient learning path of applied physics under the background of new engineering, laying a solid foundation for students’ subsequent professional advancement and career development.
