With the rapid development of molecular biology and genomics, the genetics of atrioventricular septal defect (AVSD) has gradually become an important field in the study of heart disease. AVSD is a complex congenital heart disease, the genetic mechanism of which is not fully understood, but several studies have explored its association with multiple genes. Genetic factors play an important role in the pathogenesis of AVSD. Genomic analysis of patients and families to locate genes that may be associated with AVSD;Through gene knockout, overexpression, signaling pathway analysis and other methods to explore the specific mechanism of these genes in cardiac development. The researchers also found that there may be interactions and regulatory relationships between different genes, and these associations could further the understanding of AVSD genetics. Through the genetic study of AVSD, we can better understand the pathophysiological mechanism of the disease and provide strong support for future gene therapy and precision medicine. A deeper understanding of the genetic mechanisms of AVSD can also help provide a scientific basis for clinical diagnosis and prevention, and promote genetic counseling in families with AVSD members to reduce the suffering of patients and the impact of the disease on the family.
