摘要： The work presents an argument for the continuLng relevance to archftectural desIgn methodol-ogy of lnvestigatlons into the methods of sclence' mathematIcs, and englneerIng' The hlstorical dependence of design methods upon sclentLffc tech- nLques fs demonstrated.
